Hi! My name is Glenn. I have been coming to Family Back & Neck Care Centre since July of 2000. When I first began to experience my pain, I was having sharp pains and numbness in my arms. I tried aspirin and other pain relievers which only provided temporary relief. Sometimes the pain was so bad that I had to stay home from work. Hi, my name is Jamie. I have suffered from constant headaches and migraines for 3 to 4 years now. I was in pain and stressed out every day and had tension in my neck and back. The tension made it difficult to work and go to school. I had to lose about a week per year from work due to it. I took shots when my migraines would get unbearable and my migraine medicine would just knock me out. I noticed immediate relief after coming to Family Back & Neck Care Centre. I was having fewer headaches within the first week.

I now feel much better and I haven't had a migraine in a long time. I'm less stressed, happier and more active because I spend less time in pain and more time with my family. I have had lower back pain and neck problems since my teens, and I'm closing in on 50 now, and while various treatments, therapies and chiropractic visits made the pain tolerable, I just thought it would be a constant in my life. I'm Josh, and I started coming to Family Back & Neck Care Centre after I was involved in a car accident. My pain was severe and I wasn't able to go to work or perform all the tasks I had to do throughout my day. It hurt just to sit in school for a long period of time. I tried to relieve the pain by taking Tylenol, but that only numbed the pain for a little while and it came back worse than before. Hello, my name is Wanda. Within the last six months I began having severe pain in my shoulders along with headaches. When I would get home from work, all I wanted to do was go to bed. This affected the time I would spend with my family as well. I tried over-the-counter pain meds, RX muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatories. These treatments only lasted for a short period of time. Hello, my name is Del. I started coming to Family Back & Neck Care Centre when I heard Dr. Maurer on the radio. It sounded like maybe he could help me -- and that's exactly what he did. I became aware of my pain a couple of years ago; my neck was always aching, so I could never get comfortable. I was also having headaches, which lead me to be a very irritable guy at times. Within a month of my treatment plan, I really started to feel better. Now I feel fully relieved! I can now do whatever I want without the pain. Well, it began in January of '05, when I began to get pain in my neck, then my arms, and it continued to my legs. It got so bad I went to the E.R. They did an MRI and the results showed a herniated disc in my neck. The neurosurgeon wanted to do a CT scan and from there send me to the Pain Clinic, then surgery. This was too much for me at that time. I could not take off from work for weeks at a time. I was referred to a chiropractor. At this time I was desperate to get relief, so I went to see if they could help. I truly recommend Dr. Steinle to anyone who is in pain before they go under the knife. -- Carol.

My name is Judy and I have been seeing Dr. Maurer since March of 2003. I had lower and mid-back pain, as well as shooting pain in my left leg, causing it to go numb, because of a car accident I was involved in. My quality of life was affected tremendously. I was taking Vioxx, Flexiril, and Cortizone shots for the pain. When I was treated in physical therapy they gave me instructions on exercises, which would relieve the pain but only for a short time. Everything that was done before would make me feel like I was getting well, which was a huge let-down when the pain came back. My daughter was a blessing because she had to help with all of my daily duties as a stay at home mom because of the pain.

Then I was referred to Family Back & Neck Care Centre. I started to feel relief after the 2nd or 3rd visit! I was then able to sit and stand with little pain. Now I would say I feel about 90% better -- I still have some minor flare-ups -- and I keep improving. I plan to continue with my care on a preventative basis.
